Registration, CE credit, refunds, and transfers for the Beyond the Hairline CE course.
These Terms of Service govern your registration for the Beyond the Hairline continuing education course and your use of the website at beyondthehairline.com, operated jointly by Beyond the Hairline LLC and Chat Chew and Do Empowerment Women Group (CCDEW), a Mississippi nonprofit. In these Terms, “we” and “us” mean both entities, together with their respective officers, directors, employees, and volunteers. By registering for the course or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
This course and website provide educational content about scarring alopecia. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information provided is for general informational and educational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition, symptom, or treatment. If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
You must be at least 18 years old to register. This course is intended for licensed cosmetologists, barbers, and cosmetology instructors. If you hold a different license type, please email mgeter@601sistas.com before registering to confirm your eligibility for CE credit.
Registration is complete upon receipt of full payment. Your seat is not guaranteed until payment is processed. Course capacity is limited and registration is first come, first served. You agree to provide accurate information at registration.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing by email to mgeter@601sistas.com, including full name, license number, and the email address used at registration. Refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days.
If Chat Chew and Do Empowerment Women Group cancels the course for any reason, all registered participants receive a full refund within 7 to 10 business days. CCDEW is not responsible for travel, hotel, or other costs incurred by participants.
A registrant unable to attend may transfer their registration to another licensed cosmetologist or barber at no charge with at least 7 days notice, by emailing mgeter@601sistas.com.
Certificates of completion are only issued to participants who attend the full program. No refunds or partial credit are issued for partial attendance.

This event is photographed and may be recorded. Images or footage may be used in future Beyond the Hairline marketing or educational materials.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Chat Chew and Do Empowerment Women Group (CCDEW), Beyond the Hairline LLC, and their respective officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or connected with your use of this course or website, any content you enter, or your violation of these Terms or of any applicable law. This obligation survives if you stop using this course or website.
CCDEW and Beyond the Hairline LLC reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to this course or website at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from your use of this course or website will be resolved under Mississippi law.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of this course or website that cannot be resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its then-current rules. The arbitration will take place in the State of Mississippi and will be conducted by a single arbitrator. Judgment on the arbitrator’s award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. You waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in any class action.
For any matter that is not subject to arbitration, or that is brought to compel arbitration or to enforce an arbitration award, you agree that the exclusive venue is the state and federal courts located in Hinds County, Mississippi, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Neither CCDEW nor Beyond the Hairline LLC shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, power failure, or internet or telecommunications failure.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without prior written consent from CCDEW or Beyond the Hairline LLC. Either entity may assign these Terms at any time without notice.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CCDEW and Beyond the Hairline LLC regarding this course and website and supersede any prior agreements.
CCDEW and Beyond the Hairline LLC may modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting with an updated date. Continued use of this course or website after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
